The President's Corner

By Steve Lawrence on Sunday, August 25, 2019

The Presidents Corner

JeepFest is almost here presenting us another opportunity for community service. We will be face painting Jeep stencils on children’s faces. The sign-up sheet will be passed around again at our regularly meeting. See Kay Lawrence for details.

The children’s Jeep course has been built and 4 remote controlled jeeps are ready to carry excited children around the course. That sign-up sheet will also be available Wednesday.

We look forward to having Greg Elder, our keynote speaker, give an update for Must Ministries. See you at Rotary!

Quacky

By Cindy DeMaio on Sunday, August 11, 2019

Hey friends meet Quacky! He wants you to know about the amazing Boys and Girls Club of North Georgia and the positive impact their programs make in the lives of the youth in our community. Their mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens...plus have a ton of fun while they are there!

The Rotary Club of Jasper wants to help @bgcnorthgeorgia by supporting their Great Duck Derby fundraiser! Our goal is to adopt 1000 ducks. We are at 17% of our goal with 166 ducks adopted. Help us meet our goals and support the youth of Pickens County!

Here is the link to donate! Help us TODAY!

A special thank you to Michele Crawford and Cassie Rasco for coming out to share the story of The Boys and Girls Club at our meeting this week. They obviously love their jobs and are passionate about the kids!

Our Annual Golf Tournament is Fast Approaching

By Judy Harvey on Monday, August 5, 2019

September 11
Bent Tree Golf Course

A major reminder to all Jasper Rotarians: the golf tournament -- one of our two major fundraisers -- is fast approaching. We need everyone's help to make this a success.

Gina Pendley and Steve Lawrence are working to secure sponsorships and teams.

Please consider playing that day or asking your company to purchase a sponsorship. Give what you can personally -- if not a donation of money, please consider volunteering that day.

Don't Forget to Adopt Some Ducks to Support BGCNG

Remember the Boys and Girls Clubs of North Georgia 'Great Duck Derby' at the end of September.

The Rotary Club of Jasper meets most Wednesdays at 12:00 noon at Chattahoochee Technical College. Our weekly program includes lunch and speakers who discuss a wide variety of topics that broaden our knowledge of issues within our local and global communities. We do this while enjoying the fellowship of other business and community leaders from Jasper, Pickens County, and beyond.

As one of 34,000 clubs worldwide, we are “People of Action” who practice “Service Above Self”. If you have a desire to give back to our community, we invite you to visit and have lunch with us at any meeting. Contact us at jaspergarotary@gmail.com.
