The CART Fund provides funds for cutting edge research to cure Alzheimer's disease. CART started in 1996 with Rotarians voluntarily emptying their pockets and purses of change.
One hundred percent (100%) of donated funds go to cutting edge Alzheimer’s Disease research. As of May 2020, CART has awarded $9.2 million dollars in 55 grants to recognized US research institutions. All administrative expenses of the Fund are paid from interest earned from invested contribution. Making a donation has evolved from just loose change to larger forms of donations. At this time there is a challenge going on for members of every club to consider proving donations of any size. Donating is easy. Throughout the month of May you will find Blue cups on tables and one at the Sgt. Of Arms table. These are intended for change and cash. You can provide a check (in order to track individual credit) to the Sgt. Of Arms and we will submit that to the Rotary on your behalf. Should you desire to provide a donation electronically, follow this link below and I promise that you will find the process very easy to follow.
