Don't Miss Go GREENville District Conference!

Are you one of the 350 people registered to attend this year's District Conference? The 2022 Go GREENville District Conference is shaping up to be one of the best events in District 6910's history. From opportunities to visit old friends, networking with other Rotarians, club recognition, and plenty of free time to enjoy downtown Greenville - we understand why the response has been so great!

If you aren't already registered, there is still time! Hotel space is limited, and special room block pricing expires before the end of March.

District Conference Hotel Update - Space Limited

With the limited number of rooms available at the Hyatt Regency in Greenville, the Go GREENville Conference team has made arrangements with two additional local hotels to offer special rates to this year's conference attendees. Special conference pricing can be found at the following locations

Be sure to mention Rotary District 6910 to obtain the group rate.

District Conference Service Project | Sustaining Way

By Don Martin

On Friday at 1:30 PM, Rotarians will partner with Sustaining Way to perform a GREEN service project. Our goal is to participate in a Backyard Garden Program to help provide sustainable food opportunities for communities in that area - particularly those in and around Nicholtown. Sustaining Way is a 501(c)3 formed January 2012, that uses education, collaboration and advocacy to create sustainable, caring and equitable communities for current and future generations. Their vision statement is a world where all neighborhoods, people and nature thrive!

At the current moment, we have 151 Rotarians and Guests who are signed up! If we have an overwhelming participation list, we will add a Swamp Rabbit Trail clean-up sweep to ensure a job for everyone! There is no charge to participate in the Conference Service Project, but registration is required (on-site registrations will not be allowed).

We have 90 minutes set aside for this project and all participants that have registered will receive an email prior to the conference with instructions on team assignments. The location, map, and time to be at your designated garden location will be included.

Should you have any questions please contact: PDG Don Martin, Chair Conference Service Project, don@therotarymartins.com or Max Caylor, Co-Chair Conference Service Project, cardinalmax@bellsouth.net

Rotary Means Business Coming to Go GREENville District Conference

By Hans Meier

Rotary Means Business (RMB), a fellowship wing of Rotary International, inspires Rotarians to support the success of fellow members by engaging in business with each other and by referring suitable people to each other's businesses. What better way to network and have a successful RMB event than to dedicate time at our Go GREENVille Conference for RMB?

Bring your business cards and join us during hospitality on Thursday and Saturday evening of the conference.
