INVESTMENT IN A BETTER WORLD

By Michael J. Kull on Monday, October 10, 2022
At the recent Zone Institute, Past RI President and present Rotary Foundation Trustee Holger Knaack reminded us that giving our treasure to The Rotary Foundation is not only a contribution, but that it's more importantly, an investment in a better world.

The Rotary Foundation is unique in that 47.5% of what we contribute to the Annual Fund-SHARE comes back to our District to be spent by the District. Half of this goes for District Matching Grants. Another 47.5% goes into the World Fund that we can apply to for Global scholarships and Global Grants.

Once stated by the Chair, the motion is “on the floor” for debate and action. Members must be “given the floor” before they speak. The member who made the motion has the right to speak first. Read More
