A Successful Run of Career TalksJoe Batory reports that the Liguori Academy Career Presentations were a huge success. He shares the following: Exemplary Service Above Self The Rotary Club of Philadelphia’s service project of “Career Presentations” during the past nine months for students at Liguori Academy has been a tremendous success story.![](https://dacdb.com/Rotary/Accounts/7450/Club/5498/Newsletter/19399708_476078549402192_4586562380208040227_n.jpg) This has been an extraordinary Philadelphia Rotary service project with so many Philadelphia Rotary members giving of themselves to effectively touch young lives. Each of our Philadelphia Rotary volunteers for this project deserves accolades for “stepping up” to inspire and motivate these students: Rosana Anchondo-Isaack; Ed Isaack; John Schueler; Walter Pinkas; Ken Myers; Andrew Tomasetti; Love Nosa-Omorogiuwa; Colin McMorrow; Lisa Leonard; Carrie Sharpshair; Jameel Worthy; Roscoe Brown; Rolf Willers; Matt Bernstein; James Comfort; Nick Hubner; Christa Cobb and Michael Curcio. In addition, the two Rotary International Peace Fellows sponsored by the Rotary Club of Philadelphia, D F Pace and LaMonte Adams, also gave talks at Liguori. Coordinated by Liguori Academy workforce coordinator Mary Theresa Killion and Philadelphia Rotary member Joe Batory, these career presentations were expertly done, most onsite and a few by zoom. And what is remarkable is that the student comments following each of the Rotary presentations have been overwhelmingly positive. Read More | |
