Judith A. Myers-Walls, Associate Professor of Child Development and Family Studies, Purdue, "How to Talk to Children About Terrorism." BILL HATFIELD, Program Coordinator for January 2002, will introduce Prof. Myers-Walls. Prof. Myers-Walls joined the staff at Purdue in 1979 and has B. A. degree (1974) from Manchester, and M. S. (1977) and Ph.D. (1979) degrees from Purdue.

MEETING FUNCTIONS: Money Collectors - DONYA LESTER - 11:15 to 11:45 a.m., and PAUL ZIEMER - 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.; Greeter - JOE MICON; Invocation - WENDELL SEABORNE; Music - KATHY MEEKS; and High School (McCutcheon) guests, hosted by KIRK CLARK.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY to the family of WILLIAM "BILL" PAYNE who died Thursday, December 13, 2001 at his home in St. Petersburg, FL. BILL was 96 and had been a Rotarian since November 28, 1969.

SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING REPORT: DAVE LANDGREBE, Treasurer, Lafayette Rotary Foundation, Inc. reported that contributions to the Salvation Army Bell Ringer Campaign amounted to $11,236.50, which includes individual Rotarian contributions and amount collected in the Salvation Army Kettles.
