Volume 87, Number 28 - January 15, 2002 The University Inn lunch price and the amount paid by Rotarians has been $7.50, including sales tax and gratuity, since Tuesday, January 26, 2001. Effective Tuesday, January
22nd, the University Inn price will increase to $7.75. Anticipating that $7.75 would be an awkward amount to handle, especially in multiples, and recognizing the cost increase to Rotary for guests, the Rotary Club's
Fiscal Year Budget for 2001-2002 incorporated a planned make-up of $.25 to $8.00 for the lunch price paid by Rotarians. The Board of Directors at their meeting last night, Monday, January 14, 2002, reaffirmed this
decision. Thus, lunch starting Tuesday, January 22nd, will cost $8.00 in order to simplify change-making transactions at the money table and to defray the increasing expense for guests (high school and vocational
students, potential members, and speakers) hosted by the Club. Contact DALE MC HENRY if you have any questions.
