Invocation - JIM HOBBS; Music - GREG DEASON; and Vocational guest(s) - Ivy Tech State College and/or Indiana Business College. PROGRAM (February 19, 2002) PRESIDENT OSCAR introduced DAN HEMAN, who in turn introduced Dr. Tom Mattingly, Daybreak Rotarian, who made a most interesting presentation
about "Daybreak Rotary's Medical Mission to INDIA." Dr. Tom was accompanied on this mission by Daybreak Rotarians Connie Lux, Midge Keller, and Mike Wadsworth. These four also remarked
about their experiences while in INDIA. Connie Lux put together a very neat video presentation that was shown to the Club. Dr. Tom, Connie, Midge, and Mike closed with a Q and A session. In lieu of Rotary wheels
each requested that a donation be made to the Lafayette Rotary Foundation.VISITING ROTARIANS: Ken Decker, South Bend Downtown; Connie Lux, Tom
Mattingly, Speaker; Midge Keller, and Mike Wadsworth, all from Daybreak. Midge Keller prepared a journal of their trip and it is available by contacting Midge or GRIFF.

GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE (GSE) OPPORTUNITY: Date of arrival, names, and vocations of the GSE Team are now available. This information will be provided in
"Ripples" during the next few weeks so that hosts with similar vocations may be identified. ANNOUNCEMENTS SINGING FOR GREATER LAFAYETTE (SGFL): DAVID BOUGH, President-elect and Chair, SGFL, would like to complete the SGFL project for 2002. He would like
to have a post concert evaluation meeting immediately after the Club meeting on Tuesday, March 5, 2002, Tailgate Lounge, University Inn Conference Center and
Suites. He would like SGFL Committee members, a representative from the Purdue Musical Organizations (PMO), and Cumberland Place Exhibition Center, as well as

DISTRICT 6560 CONFERENCE April 26, 27, and 28, 2002 at French Lick, IN. The Conference will be with District 6580 (Southern third of the State). Registration
forms and other information will be available at the Secretary's table. For the past several years the Conference has been held in the District, but this year it will be at
French Lick. Overnight rooms at the French Lick Hotel are $89.00 and a block of rooms will be held for the Conference until March 15th, 2002. LAFAYETTE ROTARY CLUB "SERVICE ABOVE SELF" VOCATIONAL SERVICE

the listed 46. Sorry BOB. VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS: TOM SCHMIDT, Chair, Vocational Scholarships Committee, has forwarded letters and four copies of the Vocational Scholarship
application form to BETTY DOVERSBERGER, Chancellor, Ivy Tech State College, and GREG REGER, Executive Director, Indiana Business College stating, "The
Lafayette Rotary Club, through their continuing generosity to students in our community, is offering scholarships for vocational students. Four scholarships of
$400.00 each will be awarded on Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at the noon meeting of the Club." These scholarships will be given to students from Ivy Tech State College
and Indiana Business College. An application copy, if desired, may be acquired from either TOM or GRIFF.
