GROUP STUDY EXCHANGE (GSE) OPPORTUNITY: GSE Team from District 920 (LESOTHO and SOUTH AFRICA) scheduled to arrive on Sunday, April 22, 2002 and
leave for French Lick District Conference on Monday, April 26, 2002. The GSE members and vocations are as follows: Mike Frudd, Co Team leader (male), retired
professional accountant, married and has two adult daughters; Menzintando Maboyi, the other Co Team leader, is male, single; and a lawyer; Chiara Chiumya

DISTRICT 6560 CONFERENCE, April 26, 27, and 28, 2002 at French Lick, IN. The Conference will be with District 6580 (Southern third of the State). Registration
forms and other information will be available at the Secretary's table. For the past several years the Conference has been held in the District, but this year it will be at
French Lick. Overnight rooms at the French Lick Hotel are $89.00 and a block of rooms will be held for the Conference until March 15th, 2002. PROGRAM (March 26, 2002) PRESIDENT OSCAR Introduced CHRISTA KECK, Program Coordinator who
introduced the two part Vocational Avenue of Service program: 1) TOM SCHMIDT, Chair, Vocational Scholarships who noted the winners, and introduced the two who
were able to attend today of the four $400.00 scholarships to students at Indiana Business College (IBC) and Ivy Tech; those receiving the scholarships were: Alisha,
unable to attend, from Lafayette, IBC; Sandy Bever, unable to attend, from Darlington (Ivy Tech); JoAnna Henninger from Lafayette (IBC); and Sheila Dettman
from Lafayette (IBC). President OSCAR presented certificates of recognition and a Rotary Travel Mug (Four-Way Test on it) to JoAnna and Sheila; and then introduced
2) ELSA JANLE, Member,Vocational Service Award (Vocational "Service Above Self") Committee. The Committee selected two winners from the several
nominations, i.e., BETTY DOVERBERGER, Chancellor, Ivy Tech (at this point, not sure who nominated BETTY) and CHRISTY SMITH, Executive Director, Leadership
Lafayette, nominated by JIM HANKS. ELSA stressed that the Committee hoped that Rotarians nominating an individual this year would consider nominating that person again next year.
