SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL ROTARIANS: Last, Monday, May 13, 2002, at the Club Board meeting, several minutes were devoted to discussion regarding late payment of dues by some Rotarians. At the last Executive Committee meeting, Treasurer DALE MC HENRY reported that 61 Rotarians were 43 days late in payment of dues. Last night at the Board meeting, Assistant Treasurer JOHN TROTT, reported there were still 28 members in arrears - that's over 10% of our membership. Not many businesses could operate with that kind of payments, and neither can Rotary. Club Board members after citing several possibilities to remedy this situation is referring the matter to the newly created Finance Committee for suggestion(s) to help correct this problem.
