- August 27th - District Governor Hugh Baker will speak about this year's district Rotary programs. There will be a meeting at 10:30 for officers and Senior Directors to report to the group.

She reported that she has a full slate of
volunteers signed up for the Wednesday, August 7th "Shot Not Spots" Immunization Drive program at the Fairgrounds. Volunteers should wear their Rotary name badges
and remember to bring them back to the next regular meeting. THE FOUNDATION COMMITTEE met today and set as it's goal a $100 per member contribution to Rotary International Foundation and $100 per member to our local
Foundation. PROGRAM (July 30th, 2002) JAN GRIFFIN KOEHLER introduced Alfred Abel, Conductor of the Wabash Valley Youth Orchestra, who gave us the history of this very new organization (2000) and
explained that it offers children an opportunity to celebrate what goes beyond words and an outlet to excel at something that you don't have to wait
to be an adult to do. About 75 young people are involved. Contributions may be made by contacting Grady Jones at jonesgb@purdue.edu
