PHIL KLINGER introduced Dr. Jerry Israel, President of the University of Indianapolis. In a very interesting presentation he
pointed out that by 2020 a family will pay $500,000 to provide a child's higher education. 1. How will families afford education? 2. Higher Education (both public and private) needs to figure out how
to evaluate the quality of the product. 3. Higher Education needs to maximize what is done well, scrap the rest and develop new forms. 4. The relevance of what is taught needs to be evaluated in terms
