750,000. The definition of Identity Theft is when someone assumes YOUR identity falsely for the purpose of getting credit cards or bank loans. How do they do it? The easiest way is to steal your mail or to pick
through your trash. Tips: -Take your SS number off your driver's license. -Shred any mail that has any personal information on it. -Do no business over the phone -Get a copy of your credit report and keep an eye on it.
