The Polio Eradication fund is at $18,606 in cash and pledges toward the $25,000 goal. We have until June 30th to collect the balance. TOM SCHMIDT announced that tickets for the
Annual Dinner are on sale. Mark your calendar for 6:00 P.M. on May 13th. Ticket price is $25.00. The Raffle for Eradicate Polio brought in $160.00 today. $80.00 goes to the Rotary International
Eradicate Polio Fund. $40.00 went to the winning ticket holder (JOHN BURGNER who donated it to Polio Eradication), and $40.00 was added to the kettle for the person who draws the Ace of Spades. Rotary's
Council on Legislation meets in 2004. Proposals for suggested changes are needed SOON. The Paul Harris luncheon in Indianapolis is Thursday, May 15 at the St. Vincent Martin House. Cost: $20.00 per person.

annual Scholarship awards to ten high school seniors, two from each of our five high schools. She recognized the superintendents, principals, counselors and parents; thanked the committee members and presented the
awards. Lisa Barnes received the Frank K. Burrin Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. JoAnna C. Day received the Eric A. Holm Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Diana Dickerson, Paul Haan, Craig Hodges, Taylor Locker,
Rachael Clark, Jamie Jin, Abby DeLong and Dominic Guido each received the Thomas F. Moran, Sr. Scholarship in the amount of $750. In addition, each student received a plaque and a rose to commorate the occasion. SPECIAL FAREWELL PRESENTATION Friedrich
Ellebrecht, Ambassadorial Scholar from Germany, is completing his second semester at Purdue and will be leaving us soon. He reviewed his year including the time leading up to coming to the U.S. After his graduation from
high school he fulfilled his social service commitment by working with people with Downs Syndrome. His adventure in America included his studies, a new social life, an old bicycle, travels to other states, and many new
