    CORRECTION:

Your editor got the initials right by the names wrong last week. EARL PARK introduced the students, not ED PAGE. My sincere apologies to EARL!

    PROGRAM:

JOE MICON introduced fellow Rotarian and our Past President BILL FULLER who gave us an entertaining and interesting presentation on his adventures in Brazil. It all started in 1985 with Haley's Comet, which could be seen more clearly in the southern hemisphere. That trip lead to connections to the Partners of the Americas, enriching the FULLER'S lives with more visits to Brazil and visitors from Brazil.
And by the way due to cloudiness, Haley's Comet had to be seen from the telescope at Cumberland School.

For more information on the Partners of the Americas and the Indiana Chapter, use the links on Bill's Home Page

    STUDENT GUESTS:

GREG REGER introduced Jaime Lattimore from Indiana Business College. She received a certificate and a travel mug with the four-way test to commemorate her visit with us.

    PRESIDENT BETTY'S WISDOM:

A woman from Ohio tended to brag about her home state. One day she told a long suffering friend, "You know the first man in powered flight was from Ohio. The first man to orbit the earth was from Ohio. And the first man on the moon was from Ohio." The friend observed, "Sounds like a lot of peaple are trying to get out of Ohio."
