PRESIDENT BETTY SUDDARTH, requested members/spouses to keep
the following in their thoughts and prayers: JOHN and EUDORA MC KEE;
ED PAGE; FAE SPURLOCK; Marjorie spouse of DICK WALKER; BOB
BROCK; and BOB WILKINSON.

A BIG thanks to the following people who helped with the Technology Park Job
Fair on March 2nd: JANE GRIFFIN KOEHLER, PAUL POST (who worked a
double shift!), SUSAN HYCHKA, FRANCIS PRITSCHER, BARB HANSEN

Newly elected Board Member WARREN STEVENSON has resigned from the
board. The call of Florida is stronger than the tug of Rotary's board. The Board
of Directors filled the vacancy left by WARREN with WALLY TYNER.

The next Shots Not Spots will be March 23rd at the Tippecanoe County
Health Department, 629 North 6th Street (not at the Community Health
Clinic as previously printed in error).

Anyone interested in attending the Beef and Boards Dinner Theatre
production of Godspell playing from March 18 - April 11, please contact
ADRIENNE BOUGH.

In order to avoid being placed on a committee you feel you have little
interest in, please fill out the Committee Selection Sheet and return it to
TOM SCHMIDT or to JANE as soon as possible.

FRED ANDERSON, co-Chair of the GSE Committee, announced that host
families are needed for two team members - one male and one female.
Anyone able to help should contact FRED ANDERSON or GORGON
COPPOC.
- President BETTY announced the District Conference to be held in Muncie
the weekend of April 16 - 18. You can get more information by clicking on

PROSPECTIVE NEW MEMBER:
Ann Hunt, Professor Emeritus, School of Nursing, and proposed by Jan
Mills was approved by the Board of Directors at their meeting this week. Unless
objections are heard, Ann will be introduced in the near future.
CONGRATULATIONS:
MARTHA CHISCON received a Salute to Women Award, one of five from
thirty finalists. The Woman of Wisdom (an older woman of great
accomplishment) was awarded to Gwen Daniel, mother-in-law of ED
EILER and SANDY DANIEL.
BETTY DOVERSBERGER'S Rotary family is wishing her a happy
retirement after serving her institution and the community with distinction
for many years.
PROGRAM:
DAVE LAHR introduced Susan Kisinger, Managing Director of Civic
Theatre since 1996, who reminded us that Civic is 75 years old; the third
oldest community theater in Indiana; operates in the black; and helped
revitalize downtown by restoring the Monon Depot for use as a theater.
She talked about Civic Youth Theatre and the classes offered to
elementary students (thanking Rotary for scholarships) before introducing
Sally Coffman, founder 15 years ago of Civic Theatre Comedy Readers.
Sally, with help from Mary Ellen Lovell, Susan Kisinger and Rotarians JIM
HANKS and BILL LOVELL, entertained us with humorous stories.

LIZ SOLBERG introduced Patrick Roe and Allison Burns from Central
Catholic High School. Each received a certificate and a travel mug with
the four- way test to commemorate meeting with us.
