    ANNOUNCEMENTS:

    • A Thank You note was received from Jennifer Layton, Transitional Housing, for the food we collected this month. Don't forget to bring more food on June 1st.

    • JIM TURLEY announces that the Club International Foundation Committee will meet in the Rotary lunchroom at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, 25 May.

    • STELLA BATAGIANNIS, co-chair Community Project Committee, reminded us to fill out the survey and turn it in today. Projects will be selected based on the level of interest.

    • A Certificate of Appreciation was received for our participation in Shots Not Spots. Thanks to all who participated.

    • Please help JIM KLUSMAN get out of "jail" on June 15. At 12:45 that day a law enforcement officer will arrive at his office to take him to "jail," and he needs to raise $600 for our local Muscular Dystrophy Association fund drive to "get out." If you can help, please send a check made out to Muscular Dystrophy Association to JIM at 1308 Castle Drive, Lafayette, 47905. Or, please call him at his office (742-9078 -- leave a voicemail if he's not available) or email him at jklusman@glcfonline.org and he'll make arrangements for you to make your tax-deductible contribution.
Oh -- something else: "jail" is our local O'Charley's Restaurant, where he'll be fed while doing hard time. JIM says, "I know -- it's a terrible sacrifice on my part, but someone has to do it. Thanks!!"

    • The Lebanon Club's Golf Outing is scheduled for June 9th. See BETTY for details if interested.

    Dear Jane,
Please express my thanks to my fellow Rotarians for the beautiful red geranium. I'm told my convalescence is normal. Like the geranium, I hope to be bright and lively soon.
