    VOCATIONAL MOMENT:
BETTY SUDDARTH gave us a five minute glimpse of her career. After a childhood in Kokomo, IN, she studied chemistry and math at Purdue, picking up a PhD in 1969. Because of NELSON PARKHURST and HARLAN WHITE, she stayed at Purdue, and became the University Registrar in 1980. The current mission of the Registrar is to register students, record and report (provide student demographic information). In addition to her service to Purdue and Rotary, BETTY is the proud mother of Steve and Jane.

    BIRTHDAY TABLE:

LEW RUNNELS introduced 18 members who are celebrating birthdays in June. So far that group has contributed $1,500. We sang the famous song and wish them many more returns of their special day.

    ROTARY FACT:

If your Rotarian Magazine is in a pile that you might get to sometime, this is the time to look at the current issue. It is chock full of interesting articles about the history and growth of our organization.

    SUSAN'S WISDOM:

A guy walks into a Chinese restaurant with his wife. The waiter approaches, and the guy asks for "a table for two". As they are waiting for a table to be prepared, his wife cannot help but notice a fish tank full of beautiful fish.

The wife turns to her husband and suggests that they buy the same fish for their aquarium at home. The husband agrees and asks the waiter what the fish are called.

    The waiter replies "sushi".
