The speaker this year will be Steve Forbes. He also announced that Chief Executive Magazine ranked Krannert School of Business 16th of 25 schools; 5th of public business schools. Defining ethical behavior in business, describing what unethical behavior can lead to and discussing social responsibility in business covered the subject matter today. It was reassuring to learn that the Krannert School of business has several avenues to instill ethics in students. The questions following Dean Cosier's remarks added to a very interesting program.

I was asked recently about the money that goes into the basket after you've paid for lunch. The $1 change that you receive by paying for lunch with a $10 bill is often dropped into the basket that has a sign saying it is used for Rotary projects. Currently those dollars go to back into the Club treasury to repay the shortfall that the Club covered to keep it's commitment of $30,000 for the Centennial Project Overlook on the Wabash River.

    PRESIDENT SUSAN'S WISDOM:

A young accountant dies. He immediately goes up to heaven and meets St. Peter. Because Peter is an organized sort of saint, he goes trough the required details. St. Peter asks, "How old are you?" The accountant answers, "33." St. Peter is shocked. "That's impossible," he says. "Why do you say that?" the accountant asks. "Well," says St. Peter, "I have looked at your time sheets and examined the hours that you have charged your clients - by my reckoning, you are at least 97!"
