recognized the following members: DAVID
BRIDGES, for being faculty fellow for the new Rotaract Club; BILL LOVELL for
helping to create the Rotaract Club at Purdue; JEANNE NORBERG for promoting
Rotary in our community; BETTY SUDDARTH for helping to establish Rotaract Clubs
in the district; and TERRY WEST for years of service in the Ambassadorial
Scholars program.
He described the cooperation with District 4170 in
Mexico to supply emergency services and invited us to join him the last week in
February, 2006 when our district will deliver three fire trucks to that area.
The Faces of Rotary include work we do through the
Gift of Life (Qudrat), the Gift of Sight (cataract surgeries in India), Polio
Plus, Ambassadorial Scholars, Youth Exchanges, and GSE Teams, but the most
important face of Rotary is the person who invited you to be a member. Invite someone else to be a member and be
the face of Rotary for that person.
All of these programs are supported through the
Annual Programs Fund. Every Rotarian
needs to give at least $100 Every Year to keep them going.
