    EVERY ROTARIAN EVERY YEAR:

EVERY ROTARIAN EVERY YEAR: In support of the Annual Programs Fund of Rotary International, our club committed to $100 per person. It is important that every member contribute something. SUSAN urged members to make a contribution, even if it is less than $100. The GSE Teams and Ambassadorial Scholars are supported by these funds.

    BIRTHDAY TABLE:

HARLEY FREY introduced the 13 Rotarians celebrating birthdays in February and announced that so far $1,131 has been contributed. Good work!

    ROTARY FACT:

Here is some POLIO NEWS YOU CAN USE: The number of countries with indigenous polio has dropped to an all-time low of four, as polio eradication efforts enter a new phase involving the use of next-generation vaccines targeted at the two surviving strains of virus. Rotarians have contributed nearly $600 million to this effort, something we can all be proud of!

    PROGRAM:
JIM HANKS introduced Susan Kisinger, Managing Director of Civic Theater for the past 10 years. Susan, who has shepherded the theater through tremendous growth and success, is retiring during the community theater's 75th anniversary year. She brought Kevin Barlow, Abby McClure, Mark Allen Carter, and Ralph Rohrer to present scenes from the current production of "Diary of Anne Frank". Kisinger noted that this hard working cast and crew is probably the finest she has every worked with in her association with Civic.

    PRESIDENT SUSAN'S WISDOM:

You Know You Work in Community Theater if...

...your living room couch has spent more time on stage than you have.

...you have your own secret family recipe for stage blood.

...you've ever appeared on stage wearing your own clothes.

...you can find a prop in the prop room that hasn't seen the light of day= in ten years, but you don't know where your own vacuum cleaner is.

    VALENTINE'S DAY IDEA:

    Dear Rotarian,

What are you giving YOUR Valentine for Valentines Day???

Here's a great idea! Why not give your Valentine a $100 donation to The Rotary Foundation? It's a lasting gift, and one that shows that your heart is in just the right place.

And here's a very special Valentines Day deal just for you! For every $100 gift you make, District 6560 will match it with an equal number of Paul Harris Fellow points! That's right! It's a 2 for 1 deal. That's 200 PHF points for every $100 you give. Not limited to Rotarians. Add to your spouse's Paul Harris Fellow account. Start your kids on the road to becoming Paul Harris Fellows. And, while you're at it, add a $100 gift to your account as well!

    Are there any limitations?

    Just 3 (the small print):
    1. This offer is limited to personal donations only. That means only gifts made with personal or business checks will be matched. Checks drawn on club accounts will be not be matched.
    2. This offer is limited to $100 per person. But, you can give $100 to as many people as you like.
    3. Your donation must be postmarked no later than February 14, 2006 (Valentines Day, which is the point of the gift to begin with.)

Send your check and contribution details to:
